the cupid is awkward (postmortem)

This postmortem is pretty belated as it has been up for almost two weeks now. the cupid is awkward is the fastest game project I've done so far, within the span of two days and worked on in <4hrs. Part of the reason is that I stayed up way past 3am because I went deep into hyperfocus mode and literally couldn't pry myself away even if I wanted to. I only went to the toilet after I've posted it, and you can imagine the relief that it brought me. 

Admittedly,  I've tried to do a lot of (fun) research into one-page RPGs before making this. I'm still a noob at this (be it a player or a game maker), but it gave me a good idea of what to do and what elements I can play around with. Still, I was worried that I'd be called out for making a shitty game due to my inexperience, so I'm glad that the TTRPG community hasn't done that yet for (possibly) ruining their beloved genre. 

The idea behind the cupid is awkward is to make the girliest, masculinity destroying one page RPG I can muster. Ok, that is an exaggeration. But really, a lot of TTRPGs I've seen are in genres that are action packed like scifi or fantasy, and a bunch of them had gritty undertones with life and death scenarios. Not all, but you get the picture. So I wanted to do the opposite of that and make the most casual and fluffy romantic yuri one-pager I can, because I can. Now a super gay and marshmallow level softass one page rpg exists, and I'm proud of myself. 

According to my dashboard, the cupid is doing MUCH better than my other game lol. Get rekt
